I've always been fascinated by everything that is powered by some sort of engine, either a webengine or a fuel engine. I have built 2 pocketbikes out of new and old motorcycles troughout the years.
Both models were built using parts of several old Vespa Piaggio 50cc motorcycles. They actually work, and given some balancing and stretching skills, you can drive them as well.
For this model, the fork was left untouched, and the wheels are the model you would find on your first bicycle when you were a kid. There's not a lot more information I can give about it, just enjoy the pictures.
This model is equipped with a stock 50cc cylinder and a custom built chrome exhaust pipe. The transmission ratio was modified to fit the smaller wheels by creating a custom pully (on the back of the motorcycle).
This model is even smaller than the red model, and was performance tuned.
This model is equipped with a sport version of the engine. A 65cc (2-stroke) engine, and a LeoVince exhaust system. I never dared to ride it at full speed, I stopped at 65 km/h ( 40 mph )... Any daredevil who is willing to sacrifice his kneecaps or his face to test the actual top speed of this contraption can mail me :-)
