DyNS (Dynamic Name Service) is a web community tool that facilitates online DNS management.

DyNS is a webservice that allows all you dialup and cable modem users, for whom ISP's invented DHCP or another type of Dynamic IP allocation, to have a DNS entry pointing at their current IP.
An overview of the features:

• Signing up is free
• You can use the service for free within the domains we offer (dyns.cx , ma.cx and others)
• You can use any domain name you purchased from some registrar in the DyNS system (not for free - with a trial period)
